Our client is seeking an experienced
Dry Utilities Project Manager
to lead the planning, design, and coordination of dry utility projects across a growing portfolio. You'll join a team that integrates utility strategy at the earliest stages of planning, giving you the influence to shape smarter, more efficient designs from day one. As the key connection between clients, utility providers, and internal teams, you'll ensure projects run seamlessly from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead dry utility projects from planning and feasibility through construction support, including power, gas, telecom, and fiber systems.
- Collaborate closely with internal civil design teams, planners, and external utility providers to integrate utilities into broader project strategy.
- Develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals to meet performance goals.
- Prepare and review design documents, plans, and coordination drawings for accuracy and compliance with agency standards.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, promoting technical growth, accountability, and collaboration.
- Contribute to process improvements, firm standards, and best practices that enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, utility coordination sessions, and agency reviews.
- Lead QA/QC efforts using CAD for dry utility plans, providing technical oversight, identifying design conflicts, and mentoring junior staff to improve drafting accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant dry utility design experience
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Deep expertise in utility design standards, routing requirements, construction sequencing, and permitting processes
- Passion for collaboration throughout the development and execution of projects
- Strong technical skills in utility design, CAD coordination, and plan review
