Bus Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a CDL, be skilled in operating various types of buses, including school buses, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be interacting with passengers daily.

Duties

• Safely operate buses, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the bus, performing routine inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, ensuring a smooth transition for all riders.
• Monitor passenger behavior to ensure safety and compliance with regulations during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of routes taken, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during trips.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to report any delays or issues encountered during driving.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; specialized licensing for bus operation preferred.
• Experience in bus driving or related fields such as school bus driving, delivery driving, or van driving is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to recognize potential hazards while driving.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
