Barista Shift Leader

Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Barista Weekend Opener. Where you will energize our customers with exceptional service and lead by example during your shift. As a key team member, you'll oversee morning opening duties, make sure food safety and quality standards are met and motivate your team to deliver memorable coffee experiences. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help create a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back while maintaining smooth and efficient shop operations.

Duties

• Open shop and support the team during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient workflow
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, including espresso drinks, coffee brewing, food handling, and food safety compliance
• Manage POS transactions with accuracy and speed
• Handle cash handling responsibilities
• Stock prepared foods and maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist in training new team members if needed

Experience

• Experience as a barista with a strong knowledge of espresso drinks and variety of ingredients. Some food service operations needed
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and POS pogam
• Ability to work flexible hours early mornings on weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
