Baker, morning part-time

NOTE:

A minimum of 1-2 years baking experience is required for your application to be considered.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Morning Baker to join our bakery team and help create fresh, high-quality baked goods for our customers each day.

Shift will be 5-9 am Wed-Sun.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the early hours. You'll be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, pastries, muffins, scones, and other baked items from scratch, ensuring quality and consistency throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of products including breads, pastries, muffins, croissants, cookies, and other morning items
• Follow established recipes and portion guidelines while maintaining product quality
• Ensure baked goods are fresh and ready for morning service or delivery
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage baking schedules and prep lists to stay on track with production timelines
• Monitor inventory of ingredients and assist with restocking or ordering when needed
• Communicate with the pastry or kitchen team regarding special orders or production needs
