Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Thornhill Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a growing real estate ownership and property management company.

The CFO will partner closely with ownership and senior leadership while maintaining direct oversight of accounting, reporting, cash flow, budgeting, and risk management across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties and third-party management relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting (property and entity level)
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Support acquisitions, refinances, and capital projects with financial modeling
• Manage banking relationships, debt service, and lender compliance
• Ensure accurate owner reporting, management fee billing, and financial controls
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team
• Improve systems and processes (AppFolio experience preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience
• Strong real estate or property management accounting background
• Experience with multi-entity structures and complex portfolios
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a growing organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120, $180,000.00 per year
