Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the kitchen operations in a fast-paced, professional environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry is highly valued.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Support menu planning and ingredient ordering as needed
• Ensure timely delivery of dishes to the serving area
• Assist with plating and presentation of food items for service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Support catering events or special functions as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
• Knowledge of dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
• Experience in menu planning and meal preparation
• Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Culinary experience or relevant kitchen experience required for certain roles
