Position Overview

Our client is a rapidly growing private equity–backed platform company preparing for significant scale. The organization is hiring its
first true finance leader
— a high-caliber
Senior FP&A Analyst
— to partner directly with the CFO on all strategic and analytical priorities.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is eager to build FP&A from the ground up. The Senior FP&A Analyst will serve as the CFO's right hand, owning budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, margin analytics, M&A modeling, and diligence support.

High performers will have a clear growth path into
Manager of Finance within 12 months
, with the opportunity to hire and mentor additional Senior FP&A Analysts as the platform expands.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business.
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models, weekly KPI summaries, and margin analysis.
  • Provide deep cost analysis to support decision-making around pricing, operations, COGS, and SG&A.
  • Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools to improve visibility and performance tracking.

Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as the CFO's primary analytical and operational partner.
  • Deliver actionable insights, scenario modeling, and business recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives including pricing optimization, capital planning, and performance improvement.

M&A, Diligence & Integration

  • Support financial modeling for acquisitions, including Quality of Earnings review, synergy modeling, and valuation support.
  • Partner with CFO on pre-LOI analysis, deal modeling, and integration planning.
  • Assist in building financial playbooks for future acquisitions as the platform scales.

Operational Finance Support

  • Own monthly reporting packages, board reporting support, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Improve processes and build repeatable workflows across finance.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity.
  • Experience in
    PE-backed
    or
    high-growth
    environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis skills required.
  • Ability to operate independently and build structure in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.
  • Experience supporting M&A diligence or post-close integration is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with senior executives.
