Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, ensuring that our residential properties are well-maintained and operating efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English. As a Maintenance Person, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our facilities while providing exceptional service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including working on machinery, remodeling, repairs, and electrical work.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for various systems.
• Operate tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
• Supervise maintenance staff as necessary, providing leadership and guidance on projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with residents and team members.
• Experience with residential painting techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Leadership qualities to supervise maintenance staff when required.
• Willingness to learn
