Role Description
Commercial Auto Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster (Full-Time, Remote)
This is a full-time, remote position responsible for the end-to-end management, investigation, evaluation, and resolution of Commercial Auto Bodily Injury (BI) claims. The role requires proactive management of claim files, skillful negotiation of settlements, and consistent interaction with claimants, medical providers, and legal representatives to ensure regulatory adherence and company standard compliance.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Manage the full lifecycle of a Commercial Auto Bodily Injury (BI) claims inventory, ensuring end-to-end processing from initial investigation through final resolution.
Conduct comprehensive claim investigations, including gathering evidence and analyzing facts required for accurate liability determination and claim evaluation.
Skillfully negotiate and resolve BI settlements with claimants, medical providers, and legal representatives to achieve optimal financial outcomes.
Proactively manage and document claim files, ensuring all documentation is current and complete to support timely resolution.
Ensure strict adherence to all state regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claims management process.
Interact consistently and effectively with all external stakeholders (claimants, medical professionals, and attorneys) to facilitate claim progress and gather necessary information.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in claims handling and management, preferably within Commercial Auto.
Active licensing in the home state (or ability to obtain required licensing immediately).
Familiarity with all aspects of insurance, property damage, and bodily injury claims.
Advanced analytical and detail-oriented skills.
Highly effective verbal and written communication abilities suitable for interacting with legal counsel, insureds, and claimants.
Self-motivated and independent worker who also excels in a team-oriented environment.
Proficient in utilizing claims management software and related tools to ensure efficient workflow and accurate file documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
