Responsibilities

  • Serve meals in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a clean work environment
  • Support catering services for special events or large groups as needed
  • Maintain proper storage of ingredients and leftovers, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to meet specific dietary restrictions or special requests
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages

Skills

  • Proven experience in dietary department roles, including dietary aide or culinary positions
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and meal assembly
  • Experience with fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
  • Skilled in food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
