What You'll Do
As a
Senior Project Manager
reports to the Program Manager and collaborates closely with Engineers, Architects, and Technical Product Managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects from planning through to production delivery.

Your primary focus will be to ensure projects are completed on time and meet stakeholder requirements.

Your Impact

  • Project Execution (Build) Phase Control

  • Initiate kick-off meetings with the implementation team, composed of cross-functional groups involving client stakeholders.

  • Facilitate scrum events as required, including daily stand-up meetings, refinement sessions, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
  • Identify and control project RAID logs (project risks, project dependencies, and decision and issues).
  • Manage project controls (budget, scope, and timeline), escalation, and risk mitigation.

  • Lead and participate in meetings to ensure successful delivery of the initiative.

  • Own root cause analysis and provide teams with iterative improvements.
  • Create, uphold, and implement comprehensive project plans while concurrently managing multiple projects.
  • Communicate project risks, challenges, and project status to leadership.
  • Iterate and enhance procedures for the delivery of projects.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers and junior team members, helping them adopt best practices.
  • Report on project status utilizing a data-driven approach.
  • Lead significant, complex, and high-risk projects throughout the organization.
  • Provide creative problem-solving when challenges arise and take responsibility for the project while also assisting the team with project controls.
  • Provide oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with iSeatz technical standards.
  • Planning for resource allocation, budgeting, and risk mitigation, and implementing budget control when necessary.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 7+ years of project management experience with a diverse background of complementary skills (ex. Product Management, Commercial Engagement)
  • Experience building and fostering relationships with all teams in and outside the organization, from leadership and new clients to internal engineering teams
  • Experience managing a technical implementation and a cross functional team like Development, Product, Quality Assurance, or DevOps
  • Proven ability to assess and articulate technical challenges clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with external stakeholders and internal product development teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including experience with creation of complex technical project plans, risk registers, status reports, client communications, or similar projects
  • A high degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
  • Established background in launching software products and services in partnership with engineering teams
  • Experience managing a team delivering functional software to production in a project management environment
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, multiple teams, and managing high priority and strategic projects for an organization
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Bonus points

  • Experience in the travel or FinTech industries
  • Experience in DevOps, AWS technologies, QA methodologies, and Cloud Operations
  • Client Project Management experience
  • Experience using Jira for project management

Pay Range for this Position:: $148,000 USD - $159,000 USD

Location
This role is remote-first and can be located anywhere in the continental United States - feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm CT). While we support flexible schedules, some roles—particularly those with direct client collaboration—may require alignment with client time zones for key meetings and real-time communication.
