Role Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, on-site role located in the Mobile Metropolitan Area. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, taking vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining patient records. Additional responsibilities include providing patient education, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and working collaboratively with other medical staff to deliver comprehensive care to patients. As a critical part of the healthcare team, the LPN will contribute to the center's mission of accessible and compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid and active license in the state of Alabama
  • Proficiency in patient care tasks such as administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and collaborate with a healthcare team
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and a commitment to compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Experience working in primary care, pediatrics, or other medical specialties is a plus
  • Basic computer literacy for entering data into electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care to underserved communities
