Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service
• Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure high-quality food service and maintain a clean and safe food environment
• Coordinate with the nursing staff to ensure that resident dietary needs are met and special requests are accommodated
• Develop and implement cost-effective menus that meet resident preferences and dietary requirements
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and food safety protocols
• Collaborate with the administration team to develop and implement policies and procedures for the dietary department

Requirements:

• FSD or CDM certification
• 2+ years of experience as a Dietary Manager or equivalent role in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field preferred
