General Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Firehouse Subs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing kitchen operations, staff training, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including kitchen management and front-of-house activities.
• Oversee the implementation of food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance culinary skills and customer service.
• Manage catering services, ensuring high-quality food presentation and timely delivery.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among employees.
• Analyze financial performance and implement strategies for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service quality.

Experience

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or casual dining industry.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
• Experience in training development and staff management is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• A background in catering services is a plus, enhancing our offerings to clients.
