Full Time Infant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full Time Infant Teacher to join our family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This role requires a strong understanding of infant development, classroom management, and curriculum development to support the growth and well-being of our youngest learners. The Infant Teacher will work with families to foster a safe and stimulating atmosphere that encourages exploration, learning, and social-emotional growth.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on infant development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom that promotes curiosity and independence.
• Monitor and document each infant's developmental milestones, behaviors, and progress through observations and assessments.
• Engage with children through play-based activities, fostering language skills, early intervention strategies, and behavioral management techniques.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Maintain classroom organization, including managing supplies, safety protocols, and adherence to licensing standards.
• Support children's physical needs by assisting with feeding, diapering, and comforting as required.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in childhood development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with The Creative Curriculum for infants or toddlers.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable ; relevant early childhood education credentials are preferred but not required.
• Passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learning needs.
