Cleaner - 2nd Shift

The Role:

Part-Time Mon-Fri 4pm-12:30am

Part-time position covering callouts, vacations, and other staffing needs. You will receive your schedule by 2:00 PM each day, or in advance whenever possible. You will provide janitorial services to one courthouse per shift, 3–4 days per week or more depending on business needs, working Monday–Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The courthouses you may be scheduled to cover include Norwalk, Edelman's, and Compton.

What You Will Do:

• Empty, clean, and damp wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove wastepaper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor's closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.

• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred
