About Echelon Echelon is the AI operating system for corporate transformation — your agentic command center for running a leaner, faster, and more aligned business. The Role We're hiring our Founding Infrastructure Engineer — the person who will define how Echelon runs, scales, and deploys into customer environments. You'll own everything from cloud architecture and deployment automation to BYOC and on-prem enterprise spin-ups, working directly with customers and founders to make Echelon enterprise-ready by default. This is a 0→1 role. You'll design the patterns, tooling, and automation that every future deployment will build on.
What You'll Do

Own end-to-end deployments of Echelon across customer clouds (AWS, Azure, GovCloud, on-prem)

Design and automate our infrastructure and deployment frameworks using Terraform, ECS Fargate, RDS, and VPC patterns

Build reusable deployment automation for multi-tenant and BYOC setups

Work directly with customer IT and InfoSec teams to integrate securely into their stacks

Stand up and manage CI/CD pipelines for reproducible releases

Harden and monitor environments using CloudWatch, GuardDuty, WAF, and equivalents

Write and maintain architecture + data flow documentation for enterprise onboarding

Shape infra, security, and deployment culture as a founding member of the engineering org

What You Bring

>4 years in DevOps / Infrastructure / Platform Engineering

Deep expertise with AWS (VPC, ECS, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, Secrets Manager)

Experience with Azure or GCP equivalents (AKS, App Gateway, Private Link, Managed Postgres)

Skilled in Terraform / Pulumi and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)

Strong grasp of networking, identity, and security controls (VPNs, SGs, WAFs, SSO/OAuth)

Customer-facing ability — can confidently lead enterprise deployment calls

High-agency and execution-driven — you like shipping fast and owning outcomes

Nice to Have

Experience with GovCloud or regulated environments (SOC2, FedRAMP)

Exposure to AI / LLM infrastructure or data-sensitive workloads

Comfort with hybrid / multi-cloud networking and identity
