What You'll Do as a Special Education Teacher:

• Plan & deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Adapt lessons, materials, and teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with learning differences and autism.
• Teach social, emotional, and behavioral skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based practices.
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of IEPs in collaboration with families and support staff.
• Track student progress using data-driven decision-making to support meaningful academic and behavioral growth.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with all special education requirements and timelines.

Our Ideal Special Education Teacher:

• Experienced: 2+ years of experience working in a school-based special education setting, including leading IEP development and implementation; supporting students with autism and other learning differences; using ABA principles; and tracking student progress through data and required documentation.
• Certified: Must have a valid Special Education teaching certification and meet state requirements for the role.
• Detailed: Keeps IEPs, student records, and required documentation accurate, up to date, and on schedule.
• Collaborative: Works closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to support consistent student progress.

• $54,000/year (increases with education/certification)
• Full-time (40 hours/week) with no evenings or weekends
