Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. Duties

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct routine patrols around the facility, including perimeter checks, fence inspections, and interior inspections to deter theft and vandalism.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate disputes effectively.
• Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance in medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incident reports, shift notes, and access records for accountability and review purposes.

Experience

• Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable.
• Training or certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is a plus.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) operation and monitoring techniques.
• Background in military service or law enforcement enhances suitability for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
