Are you a cake enthusiast with a flair for creativity? Kelly's Cakery is on the hunt for a talented and fun-loving Cake Decorator to sprinkle some magic into our delicious creations If you have a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail, we want YOU to help us craft cakes that not only look amazing but taste incredible too

In this role, you'll collaborate with our fabulous owner and team to whip up custom cake designs for all sorts of celebrations—from dreamy weddings to joyous birthdays and everything in between. Plus, you'll be the guardian of food safety and quality, ensuring every bite is as delightful as the last

Duties

-Create Cake Masterpieces: Design and decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other sweet treats that will wow our customers for special occasions.

• Mix it Up: Prepare frostings and fillings, following our tried-and-true recipes

• Decorating Wizardry: Use a variety of decorating techniques and tools to transform cakes into stunning works of art.

• Presentation Perfection: Package cakes beautifully for delivery or display, ensuring they look as fresh and fabulous as they taste.

• Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Collaborate with our awesome team to ensure every order is completed on time and with love. This includes checking out our customers with custom pickups, along with helping with the front bakery case.

• Clean & Green: Keep your workspace spotless and organized, following all food safety guidelines.

• Supply Savvy: Help us keep track of our ingredients and materials, ensuring we always have what we need to create

Skills

• Experience with cake decorating techniques like piping, fondant application, and airbrushing (the more creative, the better).

• A background in food handling and preparation in a kitchen or culinary environment.

• Strong knowledge of baking principles.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping your attention to detail sharp.

• Excellent time management skills to ensure every order is a sweet success.

• A creative mindset with the ability to bring unique cake visions to life based on customer preferences.

• Strong communication skills to connect with our team and our wonderful customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
