We are looking for a help desk technician to be the first point of contact and provide technical assistance to customers in a team supported environment. To be a successful help desk technician, you should be well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance. Willing to learn new systems and the aspects of the assigned duties. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone, email or ticket system
- Perform remote troubleshooting through different diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Keep Help Desk Ticketing up to date
- Assistance in Software & ERP Projects
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
- Basic Internet troubleshooting
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Setting up new users and giving them access to the intranet, ERP, office 365 etc.
- Offboard of users and revoking access to the intranet, ERP, office 365 etc.
- Experience with DNS/ DHCP troubleshooting and administration a plus
- Experience with Group Policy administration and troubleshooting a plus
- Experience deploying printers via Windows Server using Group Policy a plus
- Experience with Cisco Meraki portal a plus
- Maintain hardware inventory
- Create documentation (IT Knowledgebase/wiki pages)
- Hardware maintenance and repair
- Maintain security in an enterprise environment
- Swap out notebooks, desktop and network parts as needed
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Strong proficiency with Windows 10, 11 and MS Office; Excel/Outlook is highly recommended
- Be able to travel occasionally to our other locations
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, run cables in ceilings, bend, crouch, stoop, and climb
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
