How you'll make a difference?
The Project Manager, Manufacturing Operations will lead multiple simultaneous cross-functional, teams through the execution, and completion of projects that have a budget or potential savings of $250K - $5M. This candidate will proactively employ interpersonal and professional skills as well as project management tools to ensure the timely completion of activities within budget. Additionally, a successful candidate can manage projects across business units in multiple locations and in different facets of the organization to improve the organization's ability to provide exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
What will your duties and responsibilities be?
The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.
Develops detailed project execution plans for approved projects and manages the execution of the plans to ensure timely completion and achievement of project goals.
Collaborates with all company departments to define solutions, as needed, to execute actions in a timely manner, ensuring open communication of project progress, hurdles, and risks with all stakeholders.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors.
Ensures adherence to procedures and quality standards.
Assigns individual responsibilities and identifies appropriate resources needed.
Provides status of specific projects to the Stakeholders frequently to ensure team alignment.
Anticipates and identifies critical technical obstacles, works with cross functional team to develop solutions, then escalates solutions to management for approval.
Analyzes complex problems, interprets functional needs, and develops integrated, creative solutions.
Implements the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events to minimize the impact of threats on the project and take advantage of opportunities.
Documents high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment to understand project limitations.
Identifies resources needed and assignment of individual team member responsibilities.
Develops detailed plans and implements short- and long-range goals.
Develops project deliverables and oversight of completion.
Escalates issues that affect the project timeline, costs, or risks to management for analysis and move forward decisions.
Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
Verifies that project documents are completed, and appropriate procedures are followed.
Manages meetings, communication with internal and external team members, and conflict resolution.
Addresses inappropriate behaviors or substandard performance professionally and proactively.
Manages stakeholder communications at the operational level.
Generates reporting on project performance through key performance indicators.

What skills and experience will you need?
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.
Education/Certifications :
Bachelor of Science or higher degree in relevant engineering, business, or technical field or equivalent work experience
Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities :
More than 10 years Manufacturing or Distribution management of high performing teams, along with experience of leading product and process
