Dietary Aide/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Dietary Aides/Servers to join our team in providing exceptional meal service and nutritional support in our assisted living. The ideal candidates will have experience in food handling, food service, and sanitation, with a strong focus on customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. Duties

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving food to residents or patients in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
• Busing tables, cleaning dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining environment
• Support dietary department staff with food production and portioning as needed
• Help with meal set-up, delivery, and clean-up after service
• Monitor residents' or patients' dietary needs and preferences, providing attentive customer service
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe dining environment
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies in the kitchen and dining areas

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry settings is preferred
• Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation practices
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during meal times
• Experience with dietary department operations or dietetics is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or patients
• Ability to handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations
• Previous experience as a dietary aide or in food handling roles is desirable
• Basic kitchen experience including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and sanitation practices is beneficial
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $15.50 per hour
