Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Victoria, BC. The Fabricator will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality custom steel and aluminum components, operating machinery and tools in a fabrication shop environment. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal products, ensuring precision and accuracy. The role involves maintaining the highest safety standards, collaborating with team members, and occasionally supporting on-site installations for various projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG and stick) and metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Skilled in operating tools and machinery like grinders, saws, and welders
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a fabrication environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
• Consideration will be given to candidates with certifications or experience in CWB welding or similar qualifications
• Prior experience in architectural metalwork, steel, or aluminum fabrication is a requirement.
