We are a busy family seeking a dedicated and reliable housekeeper to manage our household efficiently. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking. This role involves maintaining our home, and occasional help watching our 4 year old.

Location: Kelowna, BC
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday to start (with potential to move to Monday–Friday if good fit)
Hours: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $21-23 depending on experience and capabilities
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, self-sufficient Household Manager / Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organized, and well-run home. This role goes beyond standard housekeeping and includes daily organization, laundry, and preparing dinner. The ideal candidate is confident in their abilities, takes initiative, and enjoys this line of work.
Because this is a family home with young children, it is very important to us that the person in this role brings a positive, respectful, and professional attitude into our home and takes pride in contributing to a calm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
Maintain a consistently tidy and clean home (all living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms).
Daily laundry: washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the day.
Prepare and cook dinner each workday, including basic meal planning and cleanup.
Routine & Scheduled Tasks
Follow and maintain a household cleaning schedule independently (e.g., bathrooms on set days, sheets and towels changed weekly).
Perform regular deeper cleaning tasks as needed (dusting, appliances, baseboards, etc.).
Monitor household supplies and notify the employer when restocking is required.
General Expectations
Work independently without the need for daily direction.
Identify what needs to be done and manage time efficiently.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Qualifications & Personal Qualities
Previous experience in housekeeping and home management is required.
Comfortable and confident cooking family dinners independently.
Highly organized, reliable, and proactive.
Positive attitude and enjoyment of household work.
Professional, respectful, and comfortable working in a family home with children.
Time-Off Expectations
Time off must be requested a minimum of six (6) weeks in advance.
A maximum of two (2) weeks of time off per calendar year is expected for this role.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
