AM Prep/Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking of menu items following established recipes and standards.
• Support the setup and organization of the line to ensure efficient meal assembly during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Help with meal plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes.
• Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and portioning practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous but not required.
• Experience working in restaurants or food service environments, including catering or food industry roles.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience that demonstrates proficiency in meal preparation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 34.0 per week
