As the Talent Development Partner, you will contribute to Laura's success by supporting the objective of being an employer of choice by developing and helping to retain our winning teams. In this role, you will develop and manage training programs & materials for the store staff. Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of learning interventions to help develop people to their full potential.
How will you support the team?
Onboard new stores management employees and ensure that the new manager is settle for success.
Communicate regularly with regional managers to identify new training opportunities.
Identify, train and support SME within the region to help onboarding and continuous training.
Develop and provide workshops for all employees in the region.
Research, improve and perform training to ensure our staff has all the tools and knowledge to succeed.
Create trackers, follow up on training and development programs.
Visit stores, get the pulse of the region, and adapt the training schedule to align with it.
Partner with the regional manager to align the training strategy, and to adjust the training offer.
Support all training development programs, assist with the identification of the participants, host training sessions and follow up on results.
Collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner daily.
The people who thrive with us have and are:
Experience as a training facilitator of 3 to 5 years
Knowledge and understanding of the retail operations.
Ability to assess training and development needs through communication with Human Resources Business Partners, Managers and employee career goals
Ability to understand business needs and priorities training schedules accordingly
Capacity to evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
Excellent communication skills. (Must be able to work with partners across Canada, including Quebec).
Strong presentation skills. (in person and virtual)
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Ability to travel within the region. (Ottawa, Quebec, parts of GTA and Maritmes).
