Site Description:

Dynacare is a healthcare and diagnostic services facility providing laboratory testing and related medical services. The site includes patient service areas, laboratories, administrative offices, and secure storage for sensitive medical materials. With regular activity from staff, patients, and service providers, the facility requires controlled access, strict adherence to safety and health protocols, and organized operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a safe environment for both employees and visitors.

Position:  Security Guard
Site:  DynaCare
Site Address:  245 Pall Mall Street, London, ON  N6A 1P4
Status: Part Time
Shifts:  Monday - Wednesday (11pm-6am)

Pay Rate: $18.54/hour
Overtime Method:  Averaging Agreement - calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly
Posting Date:  January 8th, 2026
Internal Closing Date:  January 15th, 2026

External Closing Date : January 31st, 2026

Essential Job Functions:    

  • Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites, patrol assigned areas to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed 
  • Maintain written reports
  • Perform security checks and liaise with client staff 
  • Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration. 

    • Requirements:

  • Must possess Ontario Security Guard License 
  • First Aid & CPR – Emergency Level 
  • Vulnerable Sector Check 
  • Physical Demands include walking and standing 
  • Watch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire and/or ambulance personnel, as required
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills 
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

    • Working assigned shifts, you will be responsible for patrolling the campus and monitoring surveillance cameras and completing written reports. You will be expected to perform regular patrols and interact with client staff to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.


    Certification Requirements (All)

    Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
    Valid Ontario Security License
