Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do:

As a Housekeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and resetting guest rooms to brand standards
• Changing bed linens, replacing towels, and restocking guest amenities
• Vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning floors
• Reporting any maintenance issues or lost & found items promptly
• Ensuring hallways, storage rooms, and carts are neat and organized
• Following safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals properly
• Working efficiently to meet daily room cleaning quotas
• Assisting with laundry duties as needed (on rotation or as assigned)
• Providing friendly service to guests if encountered during work

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Details:

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
• Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
• Expected Hours: 20–40 hours per week

Schedule:

• Morning/day shifts (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Rotating days off

Requirements:

• Ability to commute to Fairview Heights, IL required)
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus—but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically active tasks
