As our Content Marketing Specialist, based out of our Oakville location, you'll play a key role in shaping how our story, expertise, and solutions show up across digital channels - helping customers find us, trust us, and choose us.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a content marketer who loves turning complex ideas into clear, compelling content that performs. You'll blend creativity with strategy, SEO with storytelling, and collaboration with ownership.
Must be comfortable coming into the Oakville office 2-3 times a week or as needed.
What You'll Do
Create, edit, and optimize content across digital channels including web pages, blogs, guides, email campaigns, landing pages, and webinars.
Manage and maintain the content calendar aligned to business priorities, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
Update and optimize high-value content such as solution pages, guides, and service content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and performance.
Collaborate with Market Segment Managers, Sales, Service, and subject matter experts to translate technical information into clear, customer-focused content.
Apply SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and content refreshes.
Monitor content performance using analytics and SEO tools, and recommend improvements based on insights.
Support lead generation and campaign initiatives by developing content aligned to funnel stages.
Partner with design and marketing teams to ensure content is visually engaging, on-brand, and user-friendly.
Maintain content standards for tone, voice, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Stay current on content, SEO, and digital marketing trends and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Stay current on industry trends, content best practices, and evolving digital and AI-influenced approaches.
Contribute to other initiatives as needed with a Think Team First mindset.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in content or digital marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published content.
Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
Experience working with CMS platforms and marketing automation tools.
Comfort using analytics tools to guide content decisions.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A collaborative mindset and comfort working with technical subject matter experts.
French language skills and experience in safety, industrial, or technical environments are assets.
