Über
Reporting to the Senior Director, Operational Excellence, the Supervisor, Maintenance will work closely with the Production Supervisors as well as with their team of assemblers/technicians to ensure the performance and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. They will be responsible for effectively organizing the assembly of production lines in order to optimize line productivity

Workplace: 9200, Côte-de-Liesse, Montreal, Quebec in-person, on-site due to the nature of the role
Day shift Monday to Friday,7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
Act as the supervisor for line assemblers and electromechanics regarding the use and maintenance of facilities and equipment
Ensure the coordination and assignment of assemblers/technicians to various line setups in order to meet production schedules
Ensure that production instrument calibrations are performed when applicable and that follow-up records are kept up to date
Ensure that preventive maintenance of production equipment is carried out as required and that follow-up records are maintained (a CMMS implementation project is planned for 2026 – you will play a key role and become the owner after its launch)
Manage the inventory of maintenance consumables, purchases, and budgets allocated to operational expenses
Monitor progress to achieve team objectives
Manage capacity needs within the department, including hiring when required
Contribute significantly to achieving performance objectives for the production departments
Ensure and manage employee Health & Safety.
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
College diploma (DEC) in an appropriate discipline (mechanics, electricity, industrial or mechanical engineering, or other relevant training)
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (industrial/manufacturing environment), with supervision of technical staff
Knowledge of GMPs in a cosmetic/pharmaceutical environment as well as general Health & Safety principles
Experience with packaging/conditioning lines and general knowledge of utilities (steam, compressed air, chilled water, purified water, hot water)
Extensive expertise working with a CMMS system (such as Interal or similar)
Ability to perform technical diagnostics and problem-solving
Comfort with budget management and contracts
Ability to build productive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Extensive expertise in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite, ease with computerized production systems / ERP (JD Edwards)
Knowledge of LEAN processes and philosophy (an asset).
