Visitor Service Attendant – Museum -
Summer Student, Part-time
(1 Position Available) Term of Employment: Part-Time, Summer Term (24 – 32 hours/week, April 27, 2026 – August 21, Rate of Pay: Student Wage Band : $18.05 per hour (Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement Current Location: Lloydminster Museum & Archives (LMA) & Weaver Heritage Park (WHP Duties: The Visitor Services Attendant – Museum Attendant is responsible to assist in the overall administration and reception of the LMA and WHP
The Visitor Services Attendant – Museum Attendant will:
  • Assist with reception duties, including operation of the front desk, answering inquiries, processing admissions and retails sales, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Research and develop resources to help share information about the City of Lloydminster and region's recreation and tourism offerings.
  • Assist with developing written content for social media, in-house signage, and program plans.
  • Responsible for light housekeeping duties of the Reception Building.
  • Assist in supporting public events.
  • Participate in the City of Lloydminster's Safety Management System.
  • Other related duties from time to time as required.
Schedule: This position will work days, evenings and weekends Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to deal with the public effectively and tactfully.
  • Must be comfortable handling cash, reconciling a cash till, and conducting daily deposits.
  • Must have strong research skills.
  • Maintain high degree of professionalism.
