How you'll contribute 
The Service Supervisor is a hands-on leader in our Climate Division who thrives on problem solving to produce consistent and reliable equipment.  With safety at the forefront, the Service Supervisor will oversee the work of our Climate Technicians to help ensure we provide strong and reliable rental fleets for our customers. With empathy, they will respond to the needs and concerns of customers quickly to help them get the job done right. Responsibilities include:
Manage the productivity of the climate control technicians at the shop and all remote, service and repair facilities to effectively balance and measure their workload.
Primary focus on people development providing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Work with the Hub Manager, Climate Division to suggest development and continuous improvement opportunities for standardized processes including, but not limited to, how products are serviced, stored, picked, and shipped throughout the year.
Ensure the timely monitoring, understanding, and management of technician Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Understand the basic service requirements for all equipment.
With the Hub Manager, Climate Division, help define climate-related processes and best practices to be adopted in other geographic regions Stephenson's serves.
Collaborate and support order fulfillment, sales, technical support, and inventory management to best support our customers.
Manage incoming phone and email requests.
Ensure minimum product appearance standards and refurbishment when required.
Develop annual reviews of service procedures with a focus on improving product reliability, quality, planning, employee training and overall customer satisfaction with the support of the Hub Manager, Climate Division.
Streamline work order management and the inventory control process.
Full cycle recruitment including interviewing and hiring within the Climate Division.
Incorporate time management skills into personal and staff activities to maximize resource utilization.
Manage scheduling and payroll approval activities.

What you bring to the table
Post-secondary education required, preferably in a technical or mechanical field.
2 years in rental services, equipment repair, or related environment.
2 to 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
G Class Driver's License with a clean drivers abstract
Knowledge and training in continuous improvement an asset.
Training in WHMIS, Propane, Diesel, and Natural Gas ROT are strong assets. Required training will be provided upon hiring if not completed.
Able to manage a fast-paced team, make informed quick decisions, and distribute work promptly across the team.
Strong leadership and mechanical aptitude and general electrical understanding.
Flexible with the ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task, and communicate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Results-oriented, achieving high levels of individual and team performance.
