Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is essential for ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders using order sheets or scanners.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring correct labeling.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all company guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stocktaking as required.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Be prepared for regular lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and willingness to use PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
