Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial for the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, inspecting them for damage, and properly storing inventory. On the outbound side, you will meticulously pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and securely packaged. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and carriers to maintain seamless operations. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and our overall success in the logistics industry. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify inventory levels and update records in the warehouse management system.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are correctly labeled and documented.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
