Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehousing team in Boise, Idaho. This critical role involves the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be responsible for ensuring materials are transported accurately and safely throughout the distribution center, contributing directly to our logistics efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a keen eye for safety, and the ability to work in a demanding environment. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, providing comprehensive training, and ensuring all team members utilize the required PPE. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets and materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Ensure accurate placement and stacking of inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and safe operating procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
  • Support the overall logistics operations of the distribution center.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
