We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including staff management, inventory control, and ensuring efficient workflow. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining high levels of productivity, accuracy, and safety within the logistics department. You will mentor and guide warehouse associates, implement operational improvements, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement efficient operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
