We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Salt Lake City, Utah! As an Order Picker, you will be a key player in our logistics chain, responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your daily tasks will include reading pick lists or using scanning devices, locating specific products, and preparing them for packing and shipment. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is paramount, and you must follow all safety procedures diligently, including wearing the necessary PPE . This role requires physical agility, the ability to work efficiently, and comfort with frequent lifting and moving of items. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to identify and retrieve items.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned picking zones.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
