We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, California. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Track the movement of goods, including receipts, put-aways, picks, and shipments.
- Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement trends.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve inventory processes.
- Ensure compliance with Safety regulations in all inventory handling activities.
- Proper use of warehouse equipment and mandated PPE.
- May involve some physical work, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
- Knowledge of Safety standards in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with required PPE.
This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and requires a meticulous approach to data and physical stock. Upholding Safety standards is non-negotiable.
