We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing items for shipment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning equipment and following established procedures to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order specifications.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage completed orders for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include general labor and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Understand and follow all Lifting guidelines to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
