As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will involve meticulously picking products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, directly impacting customer satisfaction and our operational success. You will be working with a diverse range of products, contributing to the seamless flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using pick lists and scanning equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Package products securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring they arrive safely.
- Label packages correctly for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and using required PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
