We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, preparing them for packing and shipment. This role is essential to our logistics operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify item quantities and product codes against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely, as needed (training provided).
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and following established protocols.
