Join our thriving logistics company as a Material Handler in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, focusing on the efficient and safe movement of goods. You will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, accurately storing materials, picking and preparing items for outgoing logistics, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently. We value teamwork and a commitment to safety. While prior warehouse experience is a plus, we are eager to train motivated individuals who are ready to contribute to our logistics success. This position involves regular manual labor, including frequent Lifting of packages and materials, and requires physical stamina. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure working environment for everyone. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming materials from trucks and containers.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Conduct routine inventory checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical strength and endurance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
