We're looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This critical role involves accurately selecting items from inventory and carefully packaging them for shipment, playing a vital part in our overall logistics process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order sheets or scanning technology.
- Verify the quantity and quality of picked items against order specifications.
- Package items securely and efficiently for transit, using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and any other required documentation to packages.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking and packing is a significant advantage.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics functions.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
