Seeking a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing customer orders for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from inventory and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This position requires speed, precision, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within our logistics operations. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing packing materials and equipment to efficiently process orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Operate packing equipment, such as tape guns and labeling machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to stand and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
- Capability to perform moderate Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good manual dexterity.
