We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Order Picker to join our fast-paced logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Use a handheld scanner to track inventory and order progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Perform physical tasks including repetitive lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to management immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
