We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our growing team in Durham, North Carolina. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Coordinate the receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods.
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Supervise and direct warehouse associates in their daily tasks.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs in logistics.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
