Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy and management in our San Jose facility. This key role is essential for optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, analyzing inventory data, and resolving discrepancies. You will work to ensure the integrity of our stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issues.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances.
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) as applicable.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory data in the WMS.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform tasks involving lifting and moving of inventory as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Understanding of safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
