Join our thriving logistics operations in Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining an organized and efficient flow of materials, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and readily available.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
- Accurately record inventory movements and update warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all logistics procedures.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Perform tasks that require frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse operations through proactive support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, warehouse associate, or in a related logistics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and WMS.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
