Job Summary:
Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, conducting regular audits, and implementing processes to minimize discrepancies. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our warehouse operations and ensuring efficient stock management. This is a key position within our logistics department, requiring a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to precision. We foster a secure work environment and expect strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product integrity.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to access and verify inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments and movements.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and the use of required PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred).
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
